| Physical Description | Relatively tall and lean, he’s stronger than he appears, one of the holdovers from his Vulcan heritage. His ears have a point to them, but not quite as pronounced or shaped as a full-blooded Vulcan. His dark brown hair is neat and parted at the side, and his brown eyes are gentle and always alert. When he smiles, it can appear friendly, otherwise he has a calm, pleasant expression on his face. |

| General Overview | S’Von can come off as the “strong silent type” in general, but more warm and personable with people he knows. Although he’s only a quarter Vulcan, it shows in his stoic focus at work, and his quiet demeanor in public. However, he embodies the phrase “Still waters run deep” and has a “fun” streak behind his eyes that expresses itself in subtle ways, and sometimes comes out in force if he finally lets loose. He is thoughtful, methodical and careful, which can sometimes make him seem hesitant, but he is always considering options. He is passionate with his partners, but expresses his feelings quietly and subtly. He is loyal to his friends, and not very forgiving to his enemies. His bedside manner is not the smoothest, but he has learned to soften his delivery. | |

| Personal History | Born and raised on Marva IV to a half-Vulcan/half-Human father, Stoll, and a human mother, Madeline, S’von spent his childhood learning about Vulcan tenants of logic, but found little use for them in the largely non-Vulcan colony. His father didn’t push him nor his sisters to adopt the Vulcan way of life, instead allowing his children to find a balance that worked for them. While he generally enjoyed his childhood and had friends, he was often seen as “the quiet one” and some children weren’t sure how to take that. Those who got to know him vouched for him not being too “vulky” and being game for whatever shenanigans they had in mind, which usually led to him being brought home by peacekeepers who assumed he’d just fallen in with the wrong crowd. He eventually outgrew his mischief days (somewhat) and focused more on school. It was there he met a young girl named Tala who completely captivated him. He began pursuing her and tried to become the kind of person she wanted in a boyfriend. She wanted to help people? So did he. She wanted to be a doctor? So did he. She was thinking of joining Starfleet? He applied at his first opportunity. His plan was nearly successful. She noticed him being in most of her classes in school, and she liked how enthusiastic he was about the things she was enthusiastic about. They struck up a friendship, studying together, talking and growing closer until he formally asked her out. Study dates became real dates and they decided their destines were intertwined at last. With their Academy entrance exams done, their paths were set and he was ready to enter the next phase of his life with her. Then their application responses came. He was accepted; she was not. He was devastated, and she was too embarrassed to continue and transferred schools. Now, having been accepted to Starfleet Academy, he had no idea what he actually wanted to do with his life. However, by a lucky happenstance, he’d actually enjoyed his initial medical courses and didn’t regret taking them. He’d found an interest in anatomy he didn’t know he had, and he decided to continue his studies. While he thought about staying on Marva IV and continuing to chase after Tala, he realized that if she hadn’t been willing to stick around for him, why should he do the same? While never really held back in terms of exploring himself, he realized while at the Academy that he could almost reinvent himself. No one knew of his past misdeeds or mistakes, and even though he was still “the quiet one” he could build a new reputation. He began to explore more romantic options, other cultures, and hobbies such as holoprogram writing and sports. He found a love of running, and of pool. He continued his medical studies, graduating from the academy in the medical track, completing his medical school requirements alongside. His residency was done at the Academy Medical Center before he shipped out to his first assignment. He was assigned to the USS Hansando as a GP and cut his teeth on Starship duty there. He wound up staying on board for four years before transferring to the USS Pfau for another three years, followed by the USS Heron for another two years. While he enjoyed his posts, he wanted something less exploratory and more centralized, opting for a diplomatic assignment. |
